Oulu main police station and prison, Oulu

A new main police station and prison will be implemented in Oulu's Ruskonselkä as a joint project of the Police and the Criminal Sanctions Institute. The project is the first joint police and prison project to be built on the same plot of land in Finland. A common space solution brings significant functional, logistical and space-use benefits, which achieve considerable time and cost savings due to the reduction in the physical need for personnel to move.
