Boliden Harjavalta smelter, Harjavalta
The main products of Boliden Harjavalta factory are copper, nickel, gold, and silver. Boliden's nickel smelter is the only one in Western Europe. The plant produces high quality nickel stone using the latest technology in the industry. Thanks to an efficient and environmentally friendly production process, sulphur dioxide emissions per tonne of nickel are among the lowest in the world compared to other nickel smelters.
