This six-storey block of flats being built in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki, will also contain a parking facility to be constructed partly beneath the building. The property features a curved module network, sloping roofs, and several structurally challenging solutions. Most parts of the building’s frame are made of concrete, but the attic and roofing structures feature laminated veneer lumber also. The work was carried out as a modelling project realised with the Tekla Structures software.
