AINS Group’s Civil Engineering Division granted the ISO 14001 certificate

At AINS Group, the development of quality and project operations is built on certified quality management systems. In our Civil Engineering Division, the environmental management system is integrated into the ISO 9001-certified quality management system. External auditors inspected and approved the system in January 2021.

The goal is to certify the environmental management systems in place in AINS Group’s other divisions this year.

− The ISO 14001 certification granted to us demonstrates our ability to meet the set environmental targets and to offer solutions that contribute to the realisation of sustainability, says Senior Vice President Vesa Järvinen.
The environmental aspects and impacts of our operations, services and projects are analysed separately for each project, with an overall assessment performed at least once a year.

− Our environmental management system supports sustainable management and goal-oriented development of our employees’ expertise. We want to be an expert engineering partner for our customers with regard to setting and achieving environmental goals and encouraging others in their efforts to do so, says Järvinen.

The ISO 9001-certified quality management system of AINS Group’s Civil Engineering division and the ISO 14001 environmental management system linked to it were audited and certified by DQS. The goals of the quality and environmental management system include the continuous development of operations, the improvement of environmental protection measures and the predictive recognition of risks.

The Civil Engineering Division employs more than 150 civil and environmental engineers who offer extensive technical expertise in infrastructure, rock and foundation construction.
