Turun Seudun Energiatuotanto Oy, NA4 multi-fuel combined heat and power plant, Naantali
The completed multi-fuel plant partially replaced the old coal-fired power plant in Naantali that had been in operation for nearly 50 years.
The multi-fuel power plant produces district heat, process steam and electricity. Biofuels are the main fuel in the plant, accounting for 60-70% of the total. The Naantali multi-fuel plant is the first industrial project in Finland to be implemented under the alliance model.
