Technological innovations, such as machine vision, artificial intelligence and integrated information systems that control the various functions of the sawmill line, have created even better starting points for the uniform quality and cost-effectiveness of sawn timber. The environmental impact of the sawmill has been minimized. Noise management, for example, has been taken into account already in the project planning phase, both in construction and in the selection of equipment and machinery.
