Environmental impact assessment EIA

As your environmental impact assessment (EIA) expert, we will assess the environmental impact of your investment project on the project area and its surroundings with the level of detail required by law.

With our help, you can make the EIA a functional tool for planning the project and applying for permits. You will be partnered with our experienced environmental impact, EIA and planning experts who understand the background and objectives of renewable energy, industry, data centres and infrastructure projects.

Our multidisciplinary expertise in land-use planning enables a smooth transition between the planning and EIA process. When environmental impact assesment is carried out in parallel or as a joint procedure with zoning, the schedules for events, public displays, and necessary separate studies can be coordinated, which enhances time efficiency and reduces costs.

We carry out all the studies and plans required for the EIA procedure, such as nature and bird surveys, Natura assessments, observation plans as well as stormwater and road plans.

We support dialogue and participation

We assemble an expert team for the project and ensure a smooth EIA process. We take care of the compliance of the EIA process and dialogue with authorities, stakeholders, and local residents. The goal is to increase the opportunities for stakeholders to participate and influence project planning.

We prepare communication plans and conduct resident surveys, stakeholder interviews, and workshops. We utilize the results of participation in, for example, social impact assessments.

Environmental permits and other authorisation

We also act as your experts in preparing permit applications related to the project, such as environmental, water, and chemical permit applications. The preparation of permit applications can begin already during the EIA process.
