A properly designed and coordinated building information model is an important communication tool for the project. We also support your construction project with inventory modelling, if required, as well as Matterport and drone imagery to accurately incorporate existing structures, land masses or pathways into the information modelled plans.

Data model coordination at all stages of your project

1. Project planning phase: our data modelling experts help you to create guidelines for the tendering of designers and data modelling. We work with you to define the project objectives and information modelling requirements based on how the information model will be used in the project.
2. Master and implementation design phase: Once the designers have been selected, the data model coordinator will ensure that the whole design team works according to a common set of rules. We also help to keep the building permit process running smoothly, as the application for a building permit will be based on the coordinated information model. The data model will be refined in stages. For example, when designing a building, we first coordinate the architectural and structural plans, then the main building services routes. In the implementation design phase, the coordination continues in increasing detail.
3. Site phase and commissioning. The tasks of the information coordinator continue on site if the design continues alongside the construction. We will ensure that data models are updated and reconciled as required. The data model coordinator will also be involved in the final documentation to ensure that the data transfer works and the models are updated to a consistent as-built model. We also ensure that the digital deliverables are fully compliant with changing legislation.
