Nikkilä central park, Sipoo
The design task included the construction design of the biodiversity park in Sipoo Central Park.
A park area supporting biodiversity was designed in the park, where ideas were placed to support butterfly meadows, dynamic vegetation areas, stormwater depressions, soil areas and stone streams. In addition, a pier-like seating area and a stone ash-surfaced playing field with fences were designed for the area. In addition, a paved area for mobile kiosk operations and bicycle parking areas were designed for the area. Drainage, structures and lighting were designed for the area. Signs describing vegetation were placed in the area, which can be utilized in nature education; the park is bordered by both a school and a kindergarten.
