Väre - The new main building, Aalto University, Espoo
The design for Aalto University’s new main building was selected through an architectural competition.

The building will rise in an area of cultural and architectural importance. The building project will be carried out as a customised project alliance. In addition to the building of new teaching premises, the project involves the construction of a commercial facility, Metro Centre, that will be directly connected to Otaniemi metro station. A large proportion of the energy used by the building will be generated by geothermal and solar systems. Picture: Verstas Arkkitehdit Oy
