The Naval Orchestra rehearsal rooms, Turku
The Naval Orchestra rehearsal rooms were built in the former warehouse building at the Heikkilä barracks.

There are rehearsal rooms for wind and perscussion musicians', a chamber music hall, a band room, a sound monitoring room and a large rehearsal room for the entire orchestra. The loudness of the wind instruments required a lot from the sound insulation between the rooms. Modifiable acoustics were implemented in the premises. Special attention was paid to the room acoustics of the large rehearsal room and the interdependence between the players.
