Tapiola Lower and Upper Secondary Schools, Espoo
The renovation of the protected Tapiola school complex was a demanding project, which was completed to high critical acclaim.

The original buildings were completed and 1958 and 1960 and they were extended in the 1960s and again in the 1980s. The sections built in 1967–1968 were demolished and replaced by newbuilds under the guidance of the Finnish Heritage Agency. The preserved sections were renovated. The newbuilds and the renovation parts are connected by an underground building services tunnel. The product compliance of the unique elastic wooden sports floor was verified by a worksite-specific expert statement.
