Samppalinna Outdoor Swimming Stadium presented a challenging renovation site.

Completed in 1955, this stadium designed by architect Abel Sandelin is of outstanding historical, cultural, and architectural value. Therefore, Turku City Museums participated in the renovation project. Cost: 7.8 million euros Net internal area: 754 m², gross floor area: 1,783 m², volume: 4,790 m³ Completion: 2017
