Ressu upper secondary school, Helsinki
The partially protected, historically significant building of Ressu Upper Secondary School in Helsinki was renovated to its former glory and updated to meet modern requirements.

In the renovation, the entire building's technical systems were renewed. The facade, windows, and roof were repaired, and the drainage system was improved. The renovation respected the building's original appearance. The wooden ceiling of the old wing was revealed during the renovation. In the structural design, three significant solutions were made. One was the construction of three new machine rooms in the attic space. The second solution was the repair and reinforcement of the building's wooden intermediate floors. The third aspect was the integration of the new technical systems into the structures.
