Näsinportti, housing company, Tampere
The residential building was completed in 1967.

During the renovation, the heat insulation of the external cladding elements was renewed, improving the heat retention and insulation of the building. The new sheathing is sympathetic to the original architecture. The balcony slabs were replaced with larger ones and the central stack of balconies was realigned. This allowed for the addition of canopies above the balcony stacks and the installation of glazing on all balconies. The project also included landscaping improvement, roofing repair and a new combined recycling/bike shelter.
