Monio Multi-purpose Centre will be built in the area of the former army base in Rykmentinpuisto, Tuusula.

The main material used for the new building is wood and it will be realised in line with the principles of the life-cycle concept. In addition to an upper secondary school and adult learning centre, the adaptable, multi-purpose, open-plan building will house a music institute, basic art education and a handicraft school. It will also contain meeting, performance and sports facilities.
