Medisiina D, Turku
Medisiina D is a multi-user healthcare building located next to Turku University Hospital, in which we were involved in project planning and structural engineering, as well as cost calculation, construction management, and supervision.

The building's spatial solutions, structures, and materials were designed according to sustainable development principles, listening to the needs of the users. The project was guided by the versatility, healthiness, and safety of the spaces. The 10-story building houses medical education, research, and diagnostic facilities, as well as open public spaces. The premises are used by the University of Turku, the Wellbeing Services County of Southwest Finland (formerly the hospital district), and Turku University of Applied Sciences.
