Maatulli school and kindergarten represent high-quality wooden construction.

In addition to the primary school, the building houses a kindergarten for around 200 children, pre-school groups and a playground. Some of the facilities also serve the area's leisure clubs and communities in the evenings and at weekends. The school building was awarded the Rakentamisen Ruusu Award of 2024.
