Lighthouse, Joensuu
Joensuu Lighthouse is the tallest, completely wooden 14-storey residential building in Finland.

There are 117 apartaments in Lighthouse, mainly targeted for students. AINS Goup was responsible for the demanding design of wood structures. New materials and combinations of materials have been piloted in the Lighthouse. Except for the first floor, the vertical parts of the frame of the concrete pile-based building are made of laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and horizontal planks of cross-laminated timber (CLT).
