Children’s hospital extension, Helsinki
Extension and renovation of the Children’s Hospital in Helsinki includes a new 16-bed intensive care unit, a surgical and anaesthesia department and a hospital-wide MRI unit.
The extension parts of the sheltered building are architecturally distinct ‘copper containers’ from the old building. ONE Architects (Part of AINS Group) were responsible for the main and architectural design of the project: https://www.onearchitects.fi/
