Arabia Center extension, Helsinki

The design respects the area’s industrial heritage, with a red-brick podium anchoring the building while lighter structures above create a striking contrast. Sustainability is key, aiming for LEED Platinum certification with geothermal heating & cooling, solar panels, and energy efficiency class A. Residents will enjoy thoughtfully designed homes, some with sea views, a shared green courtyard, rooftop terrace with a sauna, and versatile communal spaces. Shops, cafes, and services are right at the doorstep, making everyday life effortless and urban. ONE Architects (part of the AINS Group) was responsible for the principal and architectural design of the project: https://www.onearchitects.fi/
