Ajos wind power park, Kemi
Ajos wind farm is located off the coast of Ajos harbor in Kemi.

The wind farm consists of 13 wind turbines, eight of which are situated on artificial islands and breakwaters, and five on land. The artificial islands are approximately 30×50 meters in size, and the water depth around the islands is about 3-8 meters. The five wind turbines built on land have a capacity of 3.2 megawatts and a rotor diameter of 113 meters. The turbines built on the breakwater and artificial islands have a capacity of 3.3 megawatts and a rotor diameter of 130 meters. The current wind turbines were erected in 2016 and 2017, replacing the previous WinWinD turbines. The annual energy production of the Ajos wind turbines is approximately 160 gigawatt-hours, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of about 32,000 households (5,000 kWh/household). The wind farm is owned by Ikea and operated by OX2.
