The method is based on self-assessment. Our project manager or expert provides an assessment at the beginning of the project on the possibilities of twelve areas of sustainable development (on a scale of 0–100) and at the end on our team's role (passive, neutral, active) in realising these possibilities. The areas to be assessed vary slightly depending on the service area and project.
The size of the handprint is expressed as an index from 0 to 100.
Our self-developed environmental handprint assessment serves expertise, customers, and the entire industry.
The environmental handprint made visible by the assessment helps to grow our role as a partner in sustainable development in customer projects and to spur the entire industry. We learn from the measurements, compile a data bank of sustainable construction solutions, and continuously strive to increase our handprint.
The larger the environmental handprint, the fewer negative environmental impacts in the customer's project.
The expertise of our experts in sustainable built environments and the data on successes collected in the data bank grow with each project
