Product LCA and EPD
We assess the complete environmental footprint of your product or selected construction material throughout its entire life cycle. Our Product LCA and EPD services transform complex life cycle data into clear, standardised insights.

Environmental product declaration (EPD) for building materials
We support building product manufacturers in preparing EPDs, and assist developers, contractors, architects, and designers in interpreting them, comparing the environmental impacts of construction materials, and optimising the carbon footprint of materials.
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) provides information on the environmental impacts of a construction product from raw material acquisition to the end of its life cycle. We prepare the EPD in accordance with the EN 15804 standard. It delivers verified and reliable environmental data for your project, as the declaration is always third-party verified. The EPD can be created for a single product or an entire product group.
From life cycle assessement to EPD
We conduct a life cycle assessment (LCA) calculations for your construction products and produce an EPD in accordance with current standards and Product Category Rules (PCR).
Our EPD provides you with a competitive advantage and helps you as a manufacturer to develop your products and production processes towards greater environmental responsibility.
The product declaration reveals the emissions associated with your products, enabling you to reduce the carbon footprint of your production. It also highlights the raw materials and production stages that cause the most significant environmental impacts. Reducing emissions often leads to cost savings as well.
In addition to the EPD, we prepare all documentation required for third-party verification and support you throughout the verification and publication process. We also help you leverage your EPDs in communications and marketing.
EPDs for the benefit of your project
In addition to climate impacts, our EPD provides information on the effects of construction or material production on natural resource use and water eutrophication. You can use the declaration to meet the requirements of the EU taxonomy, giving you a competitive advantage, especially if you operate internationally as a construction product manufacturer.
Our EPDs can also help earn additional points in building environmental certification systems when your project uses construction products with verified EPDs. We support you throughout the environmental certification application process.
Compare environmental impacts of construction materials
Our third-party verified EPD serves as a valuable tool for designers and contractors in your construction project, enabling more environmentally responsible choices.
Our experts support you in comparing materials by taking into account the technical and functional requirements specified by legislation or defined by the client. The EPD highlights product replacements in renovation projects and outlines the environmental impacts of refurbishment and demolition waste management.
Carbon footprint calculations
Assessing climate impacts requires data not only on the materials used in the building but also on its operational emissions. We provide comprehensive calculations of your building’s carbon footprint across its entire life cycle.
