Toas Lumipuu, Tampere
Two wooden blocks of flats for students IS be designed by architecture students for an area near the tramway terminal in Hervanta in Tampere.
The TOAS Lumipuu buildings are built from prefabricated modules amid natural surroundings on the shore of Hervantajärvi. Two buildings contains 120 flats for students. The buildings that combine white and natural wooden surfaces are built from prefabricated cross-laminated timber (CLT) modules.
