Arabia’s atelier houses, Helsinki

Arabia’s atelier houses are a collection of wooden newbuilds situated on the edge of the protected wooden house area of Toukola in Helsinki. Each of the six houses have a concrete base with two upper wooden floors and an inhabitable attic space. The project was awarded the Europahouse-certificate and was nominated for the Wood Award in 2008 as well as the “Rakentamisen Ruusu” award in 2008.
