Parola School, Parola

A module structured school in Parola, Hattula, which was designed to replace the old school suffering from indoor air problems. The speciel features of the new school are energy efficiency, clean interior air, low-carbon materials, and accessible space solutions, which provide a healthy and safe learning environment for the users and occupiers. The functionality and easy change of use were in a central role during the design process, for example, classrooms can be joined when situationally necessary. Construction design was done by Fixcel Group. Architectural and landscape design was done by AW2 Architects.
