Malmi hospital, Helsinki

Malmi hospital is part of the Helsinki University Hospital network and operates as an Emergency Department –hospital as well as Health Centre of the entire eastern region of Helsinki. The program includes emergency department, procedure and follow-up spaces, laboratory, imaging department, as well as appointment clinic. There is a covered yard for ambulances in connection with emergency department. New building is connected to two smaller and historically valuable hospital buildings, with a top lighted courtyard. The workincluded building layout planning, service location planning, flow planning. The project was designed by using BIM.
