Traffic plan for the Rantakylä-Utra master plan
Preparation of a traffic plan for the Rantakylä-Utra master plan and the related Ultrantie feasibility study and area reservation plan.
As part of this work, which was carried out to support the preparation of a draft plan, the area’s transport system was assessed and targets were set for its development. In the area reservation plan for the region’s main street, Utrantie, the emphasis was on the development of pedestrian, cycling and public transport facilities, including Joensuu’s main cycling and bus route between the regional centre and the city centre.
