Cityfier smart city tool to develop the City of Chattisgarh in India
AINS Group based start-up Cityfier won Smart City Bizhack India held in Slush Helsinki in 2017. As the Bizhack winner, Cityfier will be given the opportunity to be fast-tracked to Phase 2 of GOInternational’s Indo-Finnish Market Entry Acceleration Programme in February. Cityfier will frugally innovate with disruptive Indian companies and present their solutions for direct implementation in Chhattisgarh. The Smart City BizHack India was the first Indian-themed event alongside Slush.
At the BIZHACK, Innovators were challenged to finding ways of frugally hacking their products & services to fit live Smart City plans in Chhattisgarh, India.
Cityfier was one of the 18 teams selected for 5 min pitching to the judging panel. Members of the panel jury were Mohammed Shabbir (Founder & CEO of GOInternational Finland), Manash K Neog (Co Founder & Director, Chase India), Shamit Ghosh (CEO of Noise2Info).
Mr. Jukka Kettunen, the developer of the service, challenged Cityfier for analyzing the existing master plan provided by the Naya Raipur Development Authority. After 5 hours of intensive work he was able to present an alternative solution of the city service network and forecast higher housing values to the entire planned society.
