OOO A-Insinoorit established

The A-Insinöörit Group has founded a subsidiary company in St. Petersburg, Russia. OOO A-Insinoorit was registered 26 August 2010.The purpose of establishing the company is to improve A-Insinöörit’s operational possibilities in Russia, and it is part of a company strategy whose objective is to achieve a 10-20% share structural engineering turnover with exports.

A local company is absolutely necessary to maintain the continuity of export operations because many customers conclude agreements only with Russian companies. “The founding of the company in St. Petersburg will enhance our local presence, and the development of the organisation will also help us meet Russian needs in the future,” explains Seppo Raiski.

So far, design activities have not been initialised in St. Petersburg, but the design approval process is currently being clarified. The founding of the company augments the operational prerequisites granted to A-Insinöörit by Construction SRO at the beginning of the year; its membership entitles A-Insinöörit to comprehensively engage in design activities throughout the entire Russian area.
