Although our expertise in top-class, we are always striving to do better. We believe in lifelong learning, which is why our own AI-Akatemia produces training services for A-Insinöörit’s personnel. Our objective is that every A-Insinöörit engineer augments his or her expertise every year with training.

Technology

We are known in the industry as a versatile information modelling expert. A team of professionals specialised in information modelling operating within our company maintains and develops information modelling design according to the industry’s best practices.

The general software programs we use for planning are Autodesk’s AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD equipped with menu applications tailored for structural engineering. For infrastructure construction, the tools are AutoCAD Map 3D and AutoCAD Civil 3D. In renovation project design, we use ArchiCAD software for visualisation models, and the Tekla Structures planning system in information modelling design.

Based on the created model, the software generates the necessary drawings for installation and fabrication, as well as the lists for materials quantities, parts, and fittings. This augments the preparedness to transfer information about the components to be manufactured to the machine shop electronically.
